“Marcus and crew were great, helped us move into different locations. They go above and beyond.”
We bring the boxes, paper, bubble wrap, tape, and dish-pack kits, then pack room by room and label every carton by where it lands in the new place. China, stemware, framed art, lamps, and electronics get individually wrapped and double-boxed — the things that crack on a bumpy stretch of SR-8 if someone rushed them into a single layer of newsprint.
A lot of Akron clients pair packing with our local or long-distance move so one crew handles the whole thing, but we are happy to just pack while you move yourself, too.
What packing runs
The price scales with how much you want us to handle. Materials are built into each option.
| Packing option | Starting price |
|---|---|
| Full-pack (materials + labor) | From $340 |
| Partial-pack (kitchen, closets, fragiles) | Quoted by room |
| Fragile-only / dish-pack | Quoted by item count |
| Unpacking at destination | Available, quoted with the move |
Packing pairs with any CLC Services move. A $99 deposit locks your date; full-value protection on packed goods is available, with $0.60/lb released-value as the standard.
What full-pack does not include
A few things sit outside the packing line so the quote stays clear:
- The transport itself — packing is separate from the local or long-distance move, though we bundle both for one crew if you want.
- Disposal of clutter you decide not to take (we can box it, not haul it off).
- Specialty crating for oversized art or a piano, from $329.
- Hazardous materials — paint, propane, and the like, which no mover can legally load.
Careful by default
We have packed Highland Square china cabinets that have not moved since the Carter administration and downtown loft kitchens full of stemware. The standard is the same everywhere: wrap it, cushion it, box it so it cannot shift, and write on the box what is inside. When the careful packing and the careful carrying are the same crew, fewer things break — that is the whole point.
